General FAQs
The reception is located under the clock tower in the precinct.
Our opening times vary depending on what you’re visiting for. The gate hours are:
- 5:30 AM – 6:00 PM in February, March, and October
- 5:30 AM – 8:30 PM from April to September
- 5:30 AM – 4:30 PM from November to January

We love animals at Wicksteed Park, but we do ask that dog owners are responsible when bringing along their furry friends! We ask that dogs be kept on a lead at all times and that they wait outside retail and catering outlets.
Please do not feed our wildlife as it may be harmful to them and to their habitat. A duck feeding station is provided at the lakeside near the bridge. To find out more about the wildlife at Wicksteed Park keep an eye out for exciting events throughout the year such as bat walks and why not take a stroll along one of our signposted nature trails and see what you can spot.
No, BBQs at Wicksteed Park are permanently banned in accordance with fire safety guidance, unless you are camping where you can use a freestanding BBQ raised at least 50cm off the ground within the designated area.
Park Tickets FAQS

A single rider ticket allows one use of a single ride or one visit to a single attraction. Single tickets are a great value option which allow guests to set their own budget for the day.
The all-inclusive wristband is our best value for money for guests wishing to make the most of everything the park has to offer. The wristband allows multiple access to each ride and attraction. Why not take advantage of one of our family wristband deals available here.
You can buy tickets and wristbands online in advance here. On the day tickets can be purchased at our ticket booths located opposite the gift shop. For the best available rates book online in advance.
All tickets for events must be pre-booked online.
After you book your tickets and wristbands, we will send you a confirmation email of your order. You will need to show these to our staff at the ticket booth.
If you placed an order and didn’t receive your confirmation order, don’t worry! Please check you have completed an after-payment form with your contact details. If you still haven’t received your confirmation email, drop us an email at hello@wicksteedpark.org and we can assist you further.
- We partnered with Nimbus Disability to offer our guests a more accessible and tailored visit based on their individual needs. Nimbus individually assesses the needs of the person requiring the Nimbus pass without Wicksteed Park viewing the reason why they need additional assistance. You can sign up for the Wicksteed Access Scheme for free instead of purchasing the general Nimbus Card.

As per our Terms and Conditions, we do not offer refunds or exchanges on purchases, including Ride Wristbands/Tickets.

Customer Service FAQs
If you have any issues, concerns or feedback you wish to forward to our team, please visit our reception desk. Alternatively, you may email customerfeedback@wicksteedpark.org
We’re sorry to hear that your experience with us hasn’t been satisfactory. If you would like to issue a complaint, please talk to a member of staff at the park’s Reception during your visit where our team will do their best to offer a solution on the day. Alternatively, you may email customerfeedback@wicksteedpark.org Please allow up to 14 days for your complaint to be investigated before a member of our staff will contact you.
If you lose your child, please visit our park Reception.
You can also call our Security Team on 07483 112045 who will be able to assist you further.
If you have found a missing child, please alert the closest available staff member. If you are unable to locate a team member, please accompany the child to the park Reception.
If you have lost an Item, please visit Reception, and provide a description of the item and last known location. Our team will do their best to assist you further and check for any items that have been handed in as lost property.
Please note that we only hold these items for a maximum of 1 week.
If we have your items, you must collect them from the park’s Reception.
Facilities FAQs
Various toilet blocks are located throughout the park. The main toilets are situated between Wicky Bear’s Gift Shop and the Wicky Bear Theatre.
First aid is only available on park days. The First Aid room is located opposite Reception in the main precinct. If you require First Aid when at the park, please alert a member of staff.
We do not currently offer any lockers or storage for guests. All bags or other property is left at the owner’s risk.
We have various points where you can pay for parking. Our primary pay points are located at:
The Wicky Bear Theatre in the main precinct near Reception.
Just outside the Adventure Zone ticket booth hut, opposite Wicky’s Play Factory.
Payment Methods: There are multiple ways to settle your parking fees. We encourage visitors to read the notices around the park for detailed payment options and ensure timely payment before exiting the premises. You can pay online by scanning the QR code.
Please note that a fine will be levied on vehicles exiting without payment.
We do not currently offer electric car charging points.
All visitors for these reasons must sign in at Reception on arrival if you have pre-agreed validated parking. You must provide your vehicle registration number to our Reception team.
