Finding Wicksteed Park

Wicksteed Park can be found on Barton Road, Kettering, Northamptonshire NN15 6NJ. This location is easy to access by car, foot, cycling or public transport.

Sat Nav Users: Enter the postcode NN15 6NJ into your Sat Nav and you’ll be directed to our location on Barton Road in no time.

By Foot: You can enter the park on foot from multiple locations. The gates can be found along Paradise Lane, Barton Road or through the Wicksteed Park arboretum.

Cycling: If you cycle to the park, you can keep your bicycle safe at one of the bike racks near the Playground entrance gate. Please note: you will need to dismount when travelling through the playground or highly populated areas of the park.

Public Transport: The park is also accessible via public transport. Bus routes to the park can be found here.

Car Park Prices

Car parking charges at Wicksteed Park apply at all times. The car parking charges paid by visitors support Wicksteed Charitable Trust in maintaining Wicksteed Park as a free and accessible place for all.

Dog Guidelines

Lead Policy: No matter the size or temperament of your furry friend, dogs must be always kept on leads while in the park.

Clean Up: Please be responsible and clean up after your dog. It’s not just courteous, it’s essential for public health.

Play Areas: For the safety and comfort of all our guests, dogs are not permitted in children’s play areas.

Dog Exercising Field: Looking for a place where your dog can run free? Head over to the dog exercising field located above the campsite on the far side of the park. It’s the sole area where dogs can be let off their leads.

Spanning a vast 147 acres of listed parkland, Wicksteed Park boasts some of the most beautiful rolling green space in the region. A haven for nature lovers, the park offers a myriad of walking trails that meander through lush greenery, serene water bodies, and picturesque landscapes.

Cycling in Wicksteed Park

Lake Path: Enjoy a serene cycle around the lake path either before the rides commence at 10:30am or after they wind down at 6pm. Always be mindful of pedestrians. No motorised cycles or scooters are permitted within the park at any time.

Built-Up Areas: For everyone’s safety, cycling is prohibited in built-up areas of the park.
