Wicksteed Park Bat Walks

Part of the @play project “Festival of Play”

Join us this summer at twilight for a guided walk to watch these fantastic creatures come out to forage and feed, you’ll be able to hear their calls using our bat detectors.

Meet at the Learning Space at 7.30pm

We suggest it is suitable for children over 8 years and the ability to swim is advised, dress for the weather and please bring a torch. 

*Please note due to the nature and time of the event flying insects and creatures will be in the area. Midge repellent recommended

Date: Tuesday’s 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st August and Thursday’s 12th, 19th, 26th August and 2nd September 2021

Time: 7.30pm

Venue: Learning Space before walking to the Lakeside 

Price: Free Event, Donations welcome
(suggested donation £2.50 per person)
