Weekdays: OPEN Weekends: OPENA perfect option for your first rollercoaster ride! You will smile with delight as you whizz around The Clown Coaster’s oval track in our Adventure Zone at Wicksteed Park. Our happy clown will take you on a ride to remember on his brightly coloured carriages as you pass our mini jets and rockin’ tug on your journey.
The juvenile ride is made up of one single train with four cars. Riders are seated in twos with two rows in each carriage. A total of 16 riders can ride at any one time. The Clown Coaster is a very popular ride at Wicksteed Park and is ridden by around 220,000 visitors every year!
If you’re between 0.9m and 1m tall, you’ll need to bring a friend aged at least 14 along for the ride.

The Wicksteed Charitable Trust receives no regular external funding to help maintain the park as a truly unique, freely accessible public space.
