Upcoming Wicksteed Charitable Trust Events

Here are the upcoming Wicksteed Charitable Trust events:

Art in the Park – Dance

Join us on the 31st of January 2026 from 1pm until 3pm for Art in the Park with an energising session of dance in the Learning Centre.

This session will be led by BHVA (Becky Hurrell Voice Academy) tutors and will use dance and rhythm in a way that’s accessible, inclusive, and confidence-building for all young people – especially those who might not usually take part in arts activities.

The workshop will blend musical theatre, tap, and pulse-inspired movement to create a space where young people can channel energy and emotion through rhythm and movement.

Art in the Park is free to attend, but spaces are limited so don’t wait to book until it is too late.

Upcoming Wicksteed Charitable Trust Events

Art in the Park – Still Life

Join us on the 16th of February 2026 from 10am until 12pm for Art in the Park – Still Life Drawing workshop in the Learning Centre.

This session will be led by Nic Bassinder of NixieMade and will focus on the art of still life drawing using charcoal and graphite.

It is suitable for all skill levels, so anyone is welcome to join whether they are new or experienced.

All materials for the session will be provided.

The Mayor of Kettering’s Charity Quiz and Bingo

Join us at Wicksteed Park on 28th February from 7pm for an evening that puts the fun in fundraising at The Mayor of Kettering’s Charity Quiz and Bingo Night for Wicksteed Charitable Trust!

If you love being challenged by trivia, shouting out bingo, or you’re just looking for a fun night out with your friends, this event is for you! You can win some fantastic prizes throughout the evening, as well as the chance to take part in a raffle.

Individual tickets are £8 per person and teams of up to 8 people can book a table for £55. Your ticket includes a complimentary welcome drink, the quiz and one bingo card.

Crafternoon Tea

Join us on the 14th of March 2026 from 12pm until 3pm in the Terrace Suite for Crafternoon Tea!

You will have the opportunity to have go at creating gorgeous paper craft flowers using book pages and tissue paper, taught by Nic Bassinder of NixieMade.

All skill levels are welcome so if you are a paper flower pro, or a first timer, this event will be perfect for you. All craft materials will be provided.

This fun and engaging session is sure to work up an appetite, so once the craft section ends you can dive into a delicious high tea spread.

Tickets for Crafternoon Tea are £35 per person and spaces are limited so make sure you book your tickets online here before it’s too late.

"This historic fun park and country park has something for all ages. There is a parking fee but it is low and supports the charity which owns and runs Wicksteed Park. There are a variety of rides for children of all ages. Without children, the park has great views, walks, miniature train, garden, etc. We had a drink at the Carousel Cafe, coffee and cake was great and sat on a nice table outside on the veranda."

"Had a wonderful time in the park today! Had lunch at the garden café, brioche baguettes and jacket potatoes, and the food was amazing !! Generous portions and super tasty! Staff in there were lovely, smiley and helpful, with lots of recommendations about what to do in the park! We took some cakes home too and they were also fab!! Will definitely be back."
