Meet our Santa Paws for 2025

Meet our Santa Paws for 2025… Percy!

Percy will be our very special judge for Santa Paws in the Park, and he is very excited to meet all the contestants at the show.

Percy is 9 years old and joined his family at the age of four as a rescue. He is half pug, half Jack Russel officially making him a jug!

His favourite treat is carrots, and his favourite thing is when all his family sit down on the sofa, so he has a choice of laps to cuddle into.

Percy also likes car rides, exploring new places and of course walking at Wicksteed Park.

The Wicksteed team and Percy are so excited to welcome all the dogs and owners to the park for Santa Paws in the Park! We hope to see you there!

Celebrating Water Chute Centenary

One of the oldest surviving water-based rides in the world and the oldest ride of its kind in the UK is celebrating its centenary – by making a splash! The iconic Water Chute attraction was built in 1926 by Wicksteed Park’s founder Charles Wicksteed, the creator of swings and slides as we know them today. It was a forerunner to many of the theme park rides now popular across the world.
