The Great Pumpkin Mystery is coming to Wicksteed Park this October

This October, Mr Scarecrow needs your help at Wicksteed Park to solve the great pumpkin mystery and find his missing pumpkins.

Walk through Mr Scarecrow’s pumpkin patch, keep your eyes peeled and try to find those missing pumpkins. They are definitely in his pumpkin patch somewhere but the cheeky ghosts are very good at hiding the,.

If you can find all the missing pumpkins, you can claim your Pumpkin Finders badge and wear it with pride. And if you fill out the short form on the back of your trail sheet, you have the chance to win a family of four visit to Christmas at Wicksteed.

You can help solve the great pumpkin mystery on the 10th, 11th, 17th, or 18th October 2026, or during Halloween Half-Term from 24th October until 1st November 2026. It will be open from 10:30am until 4pm.

Entry is included in your half-term wristband, or can be purchased for £3.50 per person on the day at admissions.

We hope to see you there – and to hopefully find the pumpkins those naughty ghosts caught!

"This historic fun park and country park has something for all ages. There is a parking fee but it is low and supports the charity which owns and runs Wicksteed Park. There are a variety of rides for children of all ages. Without children, the park has great views, walks, miniature train, garden, etc. We had a drink at the Carousel Cafe, coffee and cake was great and sat on a nice table outside on the veranda."
