Get ready for a ghoulishly good time at Wicksteed Park for Halloween Half-Term!

Join us from the 24th of October until the 1st of November 2026 from 10:30am till 4pm for a spooktastic Halloween half-term!

There is so much to do at Wicksteed Park this half-term! Your wristband gives you unlimited access to all open rides, admission to Halloween Haunt Chapter 3*, admission to Zoolab’s spooky potions show in Wicky Bear’s Theatre* and the chance to solve a mystery in our outdoor trail area!

Halloween Half-Term wristbands are £16 for children under 16 and £10 for adults. Children under 0.9m get to experience the joy of Halloween at Wicksteed Park for free with an accompanying paying adult.

Individual Halloween Haunt tickets can be purchased for £7 on the day at admissions.

Attractions open for half-term are Astroslide, Treetop Walk, Rocking Tug, Clown Coaster, Wicky’s Mini Farmyard, Pig N Putt, Roundabout, Cups and Saucers, Lighthouse, Carousel, Sway Rider, Wicksteed Railway and in partnership with Halloween House, Halloween Haunt will be back with The Legends Chapter 3 including two fantastic family friendly spooky walkthroughs in one!

ZooLab at Wicksteed Park Halloween Half-Term 2026

ZooLab Spooky Potions Show

Join our Zoolab Witch or Wizard for some spell-tacular animal Potions shows during Halloween Half-Term.

We’ll be using our animal expertise to concoct a potion to make us grow taller. We’ll be using all sorts of wondrous things as we meet the likes of Snakes, Snails, Spiders and more as we make our mix.

With some ‘Eye of Newt’ and ‘Lizards Tail’ it’s quite the concoction, but are all the ingredients what they seem?!

Show will be taking place during Halloween Half-Term from 24th October until 1st November and are included in your wristband.

Show times are: 10:30-11:15, 11:30-12:15, 12:30-13:15, 14:00-14:45, 15:00-15:45, 16:00-16:45

The Great Pumpkin Mystery

This October, Mr Scarecrow needs your help at Wicksteed Park to solve the great pumpkin mystery and find his missing pumpkins.

Walk through Mr Scarecrow’s pumpkin patch, keep your eyes peeled and try to find those missing pumpkins. They are definitely in his pumpkin patch somewhere but the cheeky ghosts are very good at hiding the,.

If you can find all the missing pumpkins, you can claim your Pumpkin Finders badge and wear it with pride. And if you fill out the short form on the back of your trail sheet, you have the chance to win a family of four visit to Christmas at Wicksteed.

You can help solve the great pumpkin mystery on the 10th, 11th, 17th, or 18th October 2026, or during Halloween Half-Term from 24th October until 1st November 2026. It will be open from 10:30am until 4pm.

Entry is included in your half-term wristband, or can be purchased for £3.50 per person on the day at admissions.

Halloween Haunt Chapter 3

Join us for a spooky walkthrough from Halloween House Entertainment, returning for its third chapter.

Expect ghostly goings on and spooky shenanigans for all the family to enjoy, from the very young to the very old.

Brave the haunted Halloween House walkthrough or enjoy “I spy” with your little ones in the inflatables display.

Halloween Haunt entry is included in your wristband, or individual Halloween Haunt tickets can be purchased for £7 on the day at admissions.

Halloween Haunt will be open on the 10th, 11th, 17th, or 18th October 2026, or during Halloween Half-Term from 24th October until 1st November 2026. It will be open from 10:30am until 4pm.

"This historic fun park and country park has something for all ages. There is a parking fee but it is low and supports the charity which owns and runs Wicksteed Park. There are a variety of rides for children of all ages. Without children, the park has great views, walks, miniature train, garden, etc. We had a drink at the Carousel Cafe, coffee and cake was great and sat on a nice table outside on the veranda."

Staff in there were lovely, smiley and helpful, with lots of recommendations about what to do in the park! We took some cakes home too and they were also fab!! Will definitely be back."
