Can they speak?
Yes – budgies are able to mimic human speech and sound. Depending on the individual bird and the amount of training they receive, budgies are capable of learning dozens of words in different languages.
Do they only communicate by sound?
Budgies do not only communicate via sound, they can also use body language to communicate between each other. The body language that they use can also indicate their moods. Budgies use head bobbing, feather positioning and eye pinning to communicate.
What do they eat?

Are they friendly?
Budgies have a very friendly nature – they are very friendly and talkative making them loved by many bird enthusiasts. They are also very social birds that thrive in the company of others.
