Get Creative Festival 2018
The Get Creative Festival is a national event and will see people coming together to be creative in their local community. The festival is great opportunity to try a new craft, join a new group or share your creative skills.
On Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th March 11am until 3pm join us at Wicksteed Park for the launch of “Make It” an informal craft group that will meet monthly.
Free Drop In craft activities throughout the two days in the Learning Space suitable for ages 8 plus. Donations welcome.
Pre-school events: Easter Craft
Join us for potato printing Easter eggs, bunny masks, tissue paper flowers and biscuit decorating from 10am to 12pm in the Learning Space. Drop-in activities for parents, grandparents and carers with pre-school children. Suggested donation £2 per child.
Wickys Easter Trail
Wicky Bear has been very mischievous and he has hidden some huge Easter shapes in the Park and he wants all the boys and girls to help him find them! Entry is £3 per child and every entry receives an Easter gift.
Easter Holiday Craft Activities
Join us for some fun Easter themed craft activities in the Learning Space aka big grey portacabin including making your own Easter puppets, Easter basket and make your very own pompom bunny…cute!
Cost is £3.00 per participants, all children must be accompanied by an adult, please book through Reception.
Actives will be available on Tuesday 3rd & 10th April plus Thursday 5th & 12th April from 10am to 11.30am and 1pm to 2:30pm.

Join us to celebrate St. George’s Day by making a flag, creating a dragon and using playdough from 10am to 12pm in the Learning Space. Drop-in activities for parents, grandparents and carers with pre-school children. Suggested donation £2 per child.
Field Dog Fair Antiques and Vintage Fair
One of our most popular and long running event at the wonderful Wicksteed Park. Peruse upto 90 stalls selling a wide and eclectic range of items for all. There is an onsite cafe and dogs are welcome. Please note, there is FREE parking for those attending the Antiques Fair (car park tickets will be validated once inside Antqiues Fair).

Cransley Hospice presents Bubble Rush
Bursting into Wicksteed Park is the Bubble Rush for Cransley Hospice
The 5k course starts in a sea of bubbles and features four Bubble Stations along the route where cannons pump out coloured foam to create a 4ft deep bubble bath. The course is family friendly, so you can run, jog, walk, dance or toddle through the foam. Pushchairs and wheelchairs are more than welcome! Unfortunately, no dogs allowed.More Info

Join us for “We’re Going On A Bear Hunt” themed activities, including create your own bear, make some binoculars and map to search for a bear from 10am to 12pm in the Learning Space. Drop-in activities for parents, grandparents and carers with pre-school children. Suggested donation £2 per child.
