28th February 2018 - 3rd March 2018
10:00 - 12:30
As part of World Book Week, we are celebrating at Wicksteed Park by looking at trees and how they appear in popular books. Join us on Wednesday 28 February 10am to 11.30am or Saturday 3 March 11am to 12.30pm and take a short walk through the park and learn how to identify species of tree and how they appear as places to live, to hide or even as characters in stories. The walks will be followed by a craft activity in our Learning Space exploring the practical connection between tree and book through paper and print.
Suitable for families, booking is essential; the cost is £2.50 per participant
