June Weekends

Experience family thrills and fun at Wicksteed Park with unlimited access to 25 rides and attractions when you buy a wristband!

Wristbands are £22 per person and children under 0.9m get to enjoy Wicksteed Park for free with a paying adult.

Or save up to £12 on your next family day out with a family wristband bundle! It’s only £56 for a family of 3, £63 for a family of 4 and £77 for a family of 5.

Wicky Wednesdays

Enjoy a day of midweek family fun and Wicky Bear on selected Wednesdays this June at Wicksteed Park!

Take a spin on the Carousel, play a round of crazy golf or experience the beautiful landscapes of the park from the train. At 12pm on Wicky Wednesday you can meet Wicky Bear at 12pm outside the Ice Cream Parlour, or as he walks about the park. You can also collect a spotter’s sheet from the Gift Shop and return it for the chance to be entered into a prize draw for a complimentary return visit.

Wristbands are £10 per person, with £3.50 individual tickets available to purchase on the day. Children under 0.9m can experience the joy of Wicky Wednesdays for free with a paying accompanying adult.

Fun Time Fridays

There’s even more weekday fun at Wicksteed Park this June with Fun Time Fridays!

Take a spin on the Heritage Toy Roundabout, say hello to our farmyard animals or experience the beautiful landscapes of the park from the train. There will also be nature or craft activities in the Learning Centre that you can take part in, all included in your wristband. You will also collect a spotter’s sheet from the Gift Shop for Fun Time Fridays and return it for the chance to be entered into a prize draw for a complimentary return visit.

Heritage and High Tea

If you love afternoon tea and learning more about history – this event is for you! Join us on the 14th June for a delicious spread of tea and hot drinks, alongside a selection of scrumptious treats, all provided by the students at Tresham College.

As you sip your tea and nibble on some tasty treats, you will listen to a fascinating talk by Jon-Paul Carr, who will take you through Northamptonshire’s Victorian inventions.

Tickets to Heritage and High Tea are £13.50 per person, with only 50 spaces available.

Art in the Park – Creative Writing

Join us on the 21st June 2026 for the Art in the Park – Creative Writing workshop in the Learning Centre.

This session will focus on the art of fantasy storytelling and creative writing. It is suitable for all skill levels, so anyone is welcome to join whether they are new or experienced. All materials for the session will be provided. The session will be led by N.V. Peacock, author of Little Bones.

Art in the Park has been made possible at Wicksteed Park thanks to funding from Kettering Cultural Consortium.

Art in the Park is free to attend, but spaces are limited. Book your free space online here to avoid disappointment.

The Great Wicksteed Car Boot Sale

CAR BOOT SALES are back at Wicksteed Park with the next one on 21st June!

Join us  from 12pm* until 4pm for a day of finding bargains or selling your unwanted treasures.

Sellers must book their spot online in advance with household sellers costing £15 per vehicle and traders costing £25 per vehicle. Household sellers with an annual parking pass can book a spot for £7.50. Your entry includes parking for one vehicle, but parking registrations must be given in advance.

Garden Walk and Talk

Join us on the 28th June 2026 for a walk and talk about Wicksteed Park’s gardens in the summer.

This session includes a talk about our summer planting, how we look after the summer garden as well as the garden’s past and present in the Learning Centre. This will be followed by a walk around the key historic garden areas if you are able to.

Tickets are £3 per person, and proceeds support Wicksteed Charitable Trust in caring for Wicksteed Park.

Community Cuppa

Join us for the chance to connect with the community over a cuppa and a biscuit in the Learning Centre. It’s the perfect opportunity to get to know each other and chat about all things Wicksteed Park.

Everyone is welcome to come along – including assistance dogs!

Our next Community Cuppa is on June 12th at 10am. This is a free community event so just pop along and enjoy a cuppa!
