BBQs Banned with Immediate Effect
On recommendation of the Northamptonshire fire department and following having to extinguish numerous fires at the park over the week due to discarded coals, Wicksteed Park have had to make the difficult decision to ban all BBQs on site effective immediately.
NOTICE: BBQs and Fires banned for campers
In light of the severe drought and recommendations from Northants Emergency Services, there will be temporary ban on BBQs and fires for campers at Wicksteed Park.
New addition at Wicky’s Farmyard: Budgies!
There is a new addition at Wicky's Farmyard: Budgies! 12 new budgies (budgerigars) have been introduced to Wicky's Farmyard at Wicksteed Park. This species of beautiful birds originally come from Australia and are very interesting.
