A series of West End quality shows and a dance masterclass with Strictly Come Dancing’s AJ Pritchard are headlining Wicksteed Park’s superb line-up for 2020.

The park has brought together some of the UK's leading performers, choreographers, costume designers and creative professionals to produce superb shows throughout the year.

Under the direction of renowned director David Kettle, they will provide West End quality entertainment in the countryside setting of the park’s fantastic Edwardian pavilion.

The daytime shows season starts with Walk Like A Man, featuring the songs of the Four Seasons, on March 24, 25 and 26, followed by the warm-hearted and fun Sing As We Go on May 5, 6 and 7.

The Summer Variety Show on September 22, 23 and 24 will take people on a summer holiday of music, dance and comedy, followed by a Christmas Extravaganza show on December 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 10, 15, 16 and 17.

The pavilion’s new chef and catering team will ensure that guests will enjoy a top quality lunch to match the amazing entertainment as well as afternoon refreshments.

Tickets are £28pp or £26pp for groups of 20 or more.

The park has announced a series of live nights, including a Fake That tribute band evening on April 4, an 80s night on May 16 and a 70s night on October 10.

Then on September 19 the park is venue for a Strictly Wicksteed dance extravaganza featuring Strictly Come Dancing’s AJ Pritchard and including dance masterclasses during the day and a glittering show in the evening.

Wicksteed Park Head of Sales and Marketing Rachel James said: “The Wicksteed Park daytime shows provide a unique format which allows people to combine West End standard entertainment with lunch and afternoon tea.

“To add to that, we believe our series of live nights will deliver consistently high quality entertainment across the whole year.”

Wicksteed Park’s Pavilion is a stunning and flexible venue set in 147 acres of Grade II listed parkland and beautiful gardens.

A £2.5 million project to renovate and restore the original heart of the park has recently transformed the building and the adjoining central piazza and precinct.
