Using our unique surroundings, students can explore the different habitats through pond dipping and mini beast hunts.
You see, the marvellous thing about our park is it’s got a bit of everything: oodles of green space; a spectacularly spruced up lake; lakeside walks and free playgrounds too. There’s plenty to keep students busy for the day making for an exciting school trip.
There are opportunities to investigate science and physics through experiments in our playground laboratory, designing rides or building dens. Plus, discover more about social history told through the story of our founder and inventor Charles Wicksteed.
