Sous Chef

•Our Sous chefs work alongside the Head Chef and Kitchen team to design and develop some fantastic food offerings across the park. They need a creative trendy flair and enjoy the variety of the offering. They ensure full compliance with legislation in the Central Production Unit and across all outlets. They assist with budgets and stock management alongside training and mentoring a team to deliver an exceptional quality service.

•Our Sous Chefs must hold a formal qualification in Professional cookery, have previous experience at managing a Team, at least a food hygiene level three certification and be capable of serving large functions with up to 800 covers.


Guest Operations Manager

Overall Job Objectives:

Key Areas of Responsibility to include:

Reception

Back Office including Cash Office

Sales & Bookings- show tickets, day trade, camping, venue sales, memberships etc

Park revenue- cashing up & reconciliation

Guest Relations & Feedback

To develop a cohesive and trained team who are able to provide superior guest service and maximise revenue.

To develop the business through proactive selling activities and the effective conversion of all suitable enquiries

Security Guards

•Our Security teams are the eyes and ears of the Park. They help across all departments, ensuring that all guests and team members are safe. They are flexible in their approach to working, enjoy the interaction with people from all walks of life and are happy to cover a lot of ground in one day. They also assist with parking, marshalling events

•Our Security Guards must be a minimum of 21 years of age, have a full driving license, be able to operate CCTV and monitoring equipment, have experience in guest interaction and working with external agencies.

•Security Guards Hourly Rate of Pay £7.38- £8.82 rising to £7.70- £8.82 from 21st April 2019.


Education and Learning Coordinator

The Education and Learning Coordinator will take the lead in developing the Learning programme in line with our organisation aims and objectives. They will ensure that Wicksteed Park continues to develop and create opportunities for the widest range of audiences to engage in innovative learning activities inspired by our special heritage and landscape.

The Community Team are looking for an engaging and enthusiastic Education & Learning Co-ordinator to join them. The position is a permanent part time position based on 24 hours a week, £19,500 pro rata (£11,700). Applications due by 12th April 2019.


Purchase Ledger Clerk

We are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our Team.

Fixed Term for 12 months 40 hours per week.

Salary Banding £19,000 to £21,000 dependant on experience. Closing date for Applications 26th April 2019.

Job Description

Reporting to the HOD HR and Training and the Finance Director.

40 hours per week

20k to 22k per annum dependant on experience

21 days holiday plus Bank Holidays

HR Duties

All tasks supporting the HR Co-ordinator in recruitment and selection of personnel.

Inputting of employee data

Maintenance of employee files

Statistical reporting

Support for the HR co-ordinator and the HOD, in the delivery of Training and Development interventions.

Active Involvement in employee communications.eg Employee newsletter

Administration of employee surveys

Maintenance of Employee Time and Attendance records in preparation for the introduction and implementation of a T&A System.

Payroll

Processing of the payroll for FT, PT, Seasonal and fixed term employees

Management of the payroll system SAGE 50.

Responsible for collating hours worked, timesheets etc and inputting onto spread sheet for the payroll upload.

Communications with Employees on all/any matters regarding payment of salaries.

Management of the NEST Pension Scheme

Liaison and communication with HMRC as and when necessary.

Liaison with any 3rd party, as necessary, relating to payment and/or deductions from employees pay.

Supporting all aspects of the payroll processing.

Payroll analysis reporting to finance (to enable the control accounts reconciliation each month)

Completion of P11Ds

Relevant and timely information to finance so that the necessary statutory payments can be transacted

Payroll year-end completion

Experience of a time and attendance system is desirable eg Tensor
