Enjoy 147 acres of beautiful rolling parkland

Why don’t you get away from it all with a pleasant wander around the lake and parklands – we have 147 acres for you to explore.

The recently-completed £3million lake restoration project, supported by the Wicksteed Charitable Trust and the Heritage Lottery Fund along with Northamptonshire County Council and Kettering Borough Council, has opened up the park to walkers and created a number of new featured.

New pathways providing access around the entire lake for the first time, thanks to a 90m pontoon and arboretum has also been created.

Visit the life-sized bronze figures – modelled on two young visitors to the park – showing a girl and a boy holding hands and paddling in the lake.

Family photo opportunities also include our wicker stag, a paddling area for toddlers, a stone stack and other natural play features.

F is for follow
